Me and my boyfriend did the Classic Tour with Vojka, and we enjoyed it very much! We stayed in Ljubliana for one day, and it was a great day for us to see the city in a short period of time. We also got to know some facts about the country and the city that we had no idea about. Overall, it was a great experience, and we recommend it.

Good tour, Domin (not sure for the spelling) was a wealth of information and very gracious with finding shaded areas for each point of instruction. If I had more time in Ljubljana I would have loved to have had done the communist tour. I learned a lot about the history of the city, its relationship to karst, and its special place in with Rome, Austria-Hungary, and Yugoslavia.

We took the Ljubljana Free Walking Tour last Saturday morning & despite visiting many cities this was first walking tour. We found Vojka our guide really great, informative, engaging, professional & delightful. Vojka was very aware of the hot weather & made sure our stops were in the shade. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you so much for all the great information & an enjoyable couple of hours in this beautiful city.

This was probably the best city tour I have had. And it was FREE! Domain was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. Our only disappointment was that our afternoon City & Castle tour was cancelled for to low turnout. Some people booked and didn’t turn up.

I had an amazing experience with the Ljubljana Free Tour! I participated in two of their walking tours— the Classic Tour and the Old Town & Castle Tour. While the classic tour was interesting and informative, the Old Town & Castle Tour was truly exceptional! Our guide Tina was absolutely fantastic—she’s a remarkable storyteller who brought the history of Ljubljana to life. I felt completely transported back to medieval Ljubljana thanks to her engaging narration and deep knowledge. This tour exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the magic and history of this beautiful city. Huge thanks to Tina for making it such a memorable adventure!

This is a great way to start a trip in Ljublijana. Gives you a 2 hour tour which is very informative. Our guide Vojka was very knowledgeable and explained Slovenia's history, culture, food and drink in a very easy to follow and understand style. 100% recommend.

Our guide Domen was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. As English speakers, we had no trouble understanding at all.
We visited in the winter, and he was very thoughtful about making sure everyone stayed comfortable throughout the tour.
It was a great mix of history, folklore, and local insight. Tips are encouraged/expected since the tours are free, and it was absolutely well worth it. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide - Tina, made the tour highly engaging! I believe this is a must visit when you are in Ljubljana as it gives you a glimpse into the city’s rich culture and history! What I found helpful was that even after the tour, Tina continued to provide us with recommendations of what you can do in the area!

We did the classic tour with Domen. He took us on an absolutely stunning tour through the center of Ljubljana, telling us just the right amount of history with a humorous touch keeping us engaged and laughing. We enjoyed it so much, definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is in the city to learn more about it including tips from our guide where to eat and what to do. I am so happy and will remember it for a long time!

We spent a very pleasant and informative two hours. Although the town is small, it hides many treasures and has a rich history. Our tour guide, Vojka, with her perfect English, introduced us to the city’s past. We owe the city’s appearance to the Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, its cultural influence to the Slovenian poet France Prešeren, and this wonderful two-hour experience to Vojka. By the way, she also offers discount coupons, and we even got free tastings during the walk. We are very grateful. Thank you very much!

The tour lasted about 2 hours and 20 minutes and was jam packed with info about the city and Slovenia—history, government, art, architecture, culture, food, interesting/amusing factoids, and even tips on local spots to check out. We also got free samples of a local liquor from a shop along the way.
